5 GALLON METAL GAS AND DIESEL CAN VINTAGE NEW OLD STOCK! Brand new, never used old stock! These are impossible to find and are much better quality than any of the new gas cans that have been made after 2009 when the new government requirements took effect for gas cans which requires them to have self-closing lids without a vent. If you have ever used any of the newer cans you know that the spouts break on them all the time, They chug the gas and pour very slowly because they don't have a vent, the spouts are very low quality and they often break, a lot of people have had issues with them spilling and in general most people are just very frustrated with the very poor quality of the new ones. If you have ever used the old style like this you know it is much easier to use and it is so much nicer having a large removable cap to fill the can and you can look down inside and actually see how full it is, you can loosen the cap and use it as a vent so it will pour smoothly, the high quality spout has a built-in screen to filter out dirt and contaminants from the gas pump, and there is also an additional flexible spout which can be screwed onto the standard spout on the can if you wish to use it that way. These are by far the best gas cans they ever made and they were very popular for many years and they were marketed as a contractor gas can because they are so heavy duty and they were widely used with farmers and contractors and also homeowners who just wanted a good quality gas can. None of the new cans today compared to these and if you shop around and look at any of the high quality gas cans that are made today they have plastic parts that are problematic and they do not pour properly. I know these are not for everyone but there are going to be some people out there who are just tired of all of the junk and want a good quality can that will last them the rest of their life.
