1977-1978 Standard I S.D Curlee Int'l with case. This guitar sold for 500-1000 dollars in the 1970's and was very well crafted. Not a really well known Bass guitar but a brand-new one from wingfeather http://www.birdsongguitars.com/sdcurlee goes for a minimum $1500. SAME GUITAR MINUS BRASS PARTS and wear on the wood you pay extra for that now. This is the sleeper Bass for quality and playability. This was a work horse guitar and made to last. It has a legendary brass Kahler- sourced bridge and DiMarzio "70s Model P pickups in cream.

The Bass has a unique design blend of neck through body and a bolt-on-neck, which was anchored in the body with a heavy brass plate.
Most of the 1970s bass models shared the same basic, almost symmetrical shape (inspired by the Gibson Les Paul Jr. double cutaway).
